February Updates
To all our mamas and friends!
Hi!
We hope you had a great week, whether because your team won the big game on Sunday and/or you were pampered a bit this Valentine's Day.
We've got a lot of new moms who have joined Previa Alliance over the last few months. So, this update is also going to be a bit of a refresher on how best to use us. You should be receiving weekly texts with a link to a video or podcast that matches where you are on your motherhood journey, or that has a link to complete your emotional check-ins. When you click the link, you are prompted to have us send you a code. We've noticed that not everyone knows what to do when they get that code. So, here's a short video we made about the Dashboard and what to do when you receive a text message from us. https://previaalliance.com/dashboard-overview/
Now that business is out of the way, let's send a BIG CONGRATS to this month's giveaway winner, Tracey B.! Tracey won a $100 Target gift card, which will probably get used to treat herself and her little man, Gregory, who is 7 months old! We asked Tracey to share what she likes about Previa and what she has found useful. Here's what she had to say, "I love listening to the podcast! It's encouraging to hear other moms talking about their experiences. The podcast was also a big factor in helping me realize the emotions I was feeling were not normal and that I could get help addressing my postpartum depression. My best advice is to use Previa's resources early and often! I didn't look into any of it until I was a few months postpartum and really struggling. I wish I had done it so much sooner. There are tons of videos related to all stages of the process that would have made the transition into motherhood a lot smoother for me. It's all so well-researched and packaged. The best part of motherhood for me right now is watching Gregory and I grow together. I love watching him learn new skills and listening to his adorable giggle. It's been eye-opening to realize just how much I've also grown and am becoming a better version of myself."
Be on the lookout Monday morning for a link to a handy resource guide created by Courtney English, our newest video contributor. Courtney is an Occupational Therapist who will be sharing info about how to help your baby develop. We've created a new category, named Baby Steps, on your Dashboard where you can find her first few videos. We've shared links to two of her videos below. The PDF will have helpful tips on helping your baby's sensory development during the first year.
As always, we love to hear from you! Click the button to let us know what you think about our videos or what topics you'd like us to cover.
